ACCOMPLISHMINTS:

Robert F. Kennedy Lifetime Achievement Award June 14, 2008

• Awarded Robert F. Kennedy Lifetime Achievement Award - the highest level award given by the Worcester Democratic City Committee at the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial Dinner.

Worcester Campus - Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences announced in March, 1999

• Worked closely with President Charles Monahan to bring the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to Worcester, Massachusetts, which created hundreds of jobs and 1000 students in "White Coats".

Renovation and New Construction of Schools, 2003 and 2006

• Supported the $22,000,000.00 renovation to the Forest Grove Middle School and the $100,000,000 New Worcester Technical. Education will be a top priority as State Representative for the 13th Worcester District.

The Friends of the Worcester Senior Center "Best Friends Award 2004"

• Presented "Political Activism Award" for leadership qualities. As chairman of Worcester City Council's Elder Affairs sub-committee, provided strong and consistent leadership in the development of Worcester's First Focal Point Senior Center.

Vice-Chairman, Worcester City Council January 17, 2007

• Recognized by peers of the Worcester City Council for leadership skills and elected by a unanimous vote to become Vice-Chairman of the Worcester City Council.

John Kerry Presidential Campaign - 2004

• Two weeks campaigning for Senator John Kerry in Pottstown, PA. and was “Staging Manager” on Election Day.

Columbus Day Parade 1998

• Honored as Grand Marshall for outstanding achievements in the Italian American Community.

Worcester Magazine's Best of Worcester 2006

• Voted by the readers of Worcester Magazine as "Best City Councilor" in 2006 for excellent constituent services for the citizens of Worcester. Will continue to provide the same "one on one" service to constituents of the 13th Worcester District (Ward 1,9,10, Prescient 3, and the Town of Paxton.)
