| TAX LESS & SPEND WISELY: | The 13th District pays its share of taxes. It is time to bring the money home. I will use my 14 years of municipal budget experience to scrutinize the $28,300,000,000.00 State budget to eliminate wasteful spending to save money for the taxpayers of the 13th District. |
| EDUCATION & LOCAL AID: | I will “fight” for Chapter 70 money to improve the quality of our schools and increase local aid for the 13th District |
| CLEAR AND HONEST LEGISLATION: | I will write legislation that will create jobs, ensure job retention and implement “green iniatives” to promote a clean environment that is clear and direct. Attaching unnecessary spending attachments to necessary legislation needs to end! Horse-trading is bankrupting our State. |
| I WORK FOR YOU! | Too many legislators get lost in the halls of Beacon Hill. I believe the only way to effectively represent the people is to be actively involved in the community. Expect to see me and when you do, stop me. I want to hear your ideas. As a City Councilor I provided excellent constituent service and I will respond to e-mails and phone calls within the same day or the following morning. |
| INDEPENDENT THINKING: | We are facing difficult times. Democrats and Republicans need to put aside partisanship to do the people’s business. I will work with and support good ideas from both sides of the isle and commit to doing what is “RIGHT” for the 13th District and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. |
